About John Morton, Dentist. Formerly of Christchurch Dental Group
Ask John Morton, dentist, to sum up his philosophy in a few words, and he’ll give you an immediate answer: Teeth have people, too.
“Dentistry is something that is so personal, and dental health so dependent on what happens in the rest of a person’s life, that you can’t be doing good work if you’re treating teeth in isolation.”
Before opening Morton Dentistry with wife Kristin, John’s last permanent pre-quake dental surgery was in the BNZ House, overlooking Cathedral Square as a member of the Christchurch Dental Group.
John trained at Otago University, and has spent the past 27 years practising in Christchurch, and has built up a loyal following.
Specialised experience gained in London, where he went after university to indulge his love of cricket, gave John both advanced skills and a strong interest in complex restorative procedures such as crowns and bridges, as well as everyday dental health.
John’s friendly, relaxed manner is popular with teeth - and people - of all ages.
